Erika Schlichter works as the Associate Director in charge of Activity Programming as well as the CIT Program. Erika is deeply invested in Carysbrook having spent many summers as a camper, CIT, WIT, Staff and CCAA active alumna.
Erika is a graduate of Indiana University and earned a master’s degree in International Human Rights at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies in Denver, CO. Advanced in multi-tasking, our own Ranger Rick is also active volunteering as a Crisis Hotline Volunteer for the Women’s Resource Center of the New River Valley, a non-profit, human service agency committed to safety, dignity, respect, empowerment, free services, community collaboration and freedom from violence regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, religion, disability, or veteran status. Always seeking opportunities to actively engage with her community and young people, Erika also works as a substitute teacher for a range of grades in the Montgomery County Public School system.
Erika and Colleen assemble a formidable leadership team having grown up together in Norfolk, Virginia and sharing a real commitment to the value of a summer to remember for campers and staff alike at Camp Carysbrook.
