“I never expected Carysbrook to capture my heart the way that it did, but ever since I left, it‘s like my heart is trying to draw me back to my summer home. That is the legacy that this camp leaves and I hope that as many people as possible get to experience it. Carysbrook is one of the most empowering and enlightening places I’ve ever been to. I am proud to say that I am a counsellor here, especially for the 100th summer, as it exceeds expectations beyond what I could have comprehended. It’s amazing to see the work that is put in to make sure that every girl or woman who goes to camp reaches their full potential. You make bonds not only with people from around the world, but also with yourself and you start to realise just how capable you are.”
