A skill or song or poem you learned at camp that has stayed with you:
I believe the most important skills I learned at Carysbrook that have stuck with me to this day are independence and flexibility. These are pretty critical traits to have as a medical student…you never know what you’re going to encounter each day in the hospital!

How did you or your family first learn of Camp Carysbrook?
My family heard about Carysbrook from a school friend who went the summer before my sister and I did. My mom actually went to an info session at Toni Baughman’s house right down the street from us!

What are your goals for your term on the Board?
As Head of Membership, I will be actively recruiting alumnae to join and support our scholarship fund!

A skill or song or poem you learned at camp that has stayed with you:

I play it cool
And dig all jive.
That’s the reason I stay alive.
My motto,
As I live and learn, is:
Dig And Be Dug
In Return.

-Langston Hughes

How did you or your family first learn of Camp Carysbrook?
My sisters went to camp first and found it through an internet search… they loved it so much that I decided to go as a staff member.

What are your goals for your term on the Board?
During my term as 5-year Reunion Coordinator, I will be planning and carrying out the 95th reunion in Fall 2018.
